Update April 26th: Time Extension
Thank you for everyone who has entered so far! We are having a time extension for our deadline,
and will be running this contest through the month of May as well due to the arrival of the Bagbeans Carnival!
Please make sure to enjoy the carnival, we know the mods have put a lot of time and effort into it,
but also don't forget that we have some AWESOME prizes that you can win,
so enter our contest if you can!

We do not discourage you using your contest entry as a ticket entry! So if you want tomake a detailed ticket collecting deviation themed after Flower Children or Help the Nature
just make sure that your entry has a background, is full body and colored! We will accept these
"First Bloom" themed entries into the contest as well. I hope this helps with your Carnival!

The first signs of Spring are finally showing through and Winter is finally on its way out! Your Bagbean/ Griffia Character has gone outside to look for budding plants, what do they see? Is your Bagbean/Griffia Character a gardener? How do they tend to their garden to prepare for spring?
How to enter:
Draw a Bagbean (or other Griffia Character) preparing their garden for Spring, or discovering the first signs of new plant life after Winter. Please follow all the rules, and reply to the featured comment with your entry!Rules:
There are not very many rules, as we really want you to be as creative as possible!You don't have to own a Bagbean or Griffia creature to enter, just make sure you get the permission of the owner to use their character/s!
Must be fully colored/ have a background Full Body ONLY! (No headshots/ half-body!) Tag us (BagBe-ingInTheKnow) and link our contest journal in the description of the deviation Must include at least one Bagbean or Griffia Co-Creature

Hello everyone and thank you so much for your patience, this is ReckonCat (https://www.deviantart.com/reckoncat) here. I've been experiencing some very trying times these past few months, which are still continuing, but I really appreciate all the love and support that this community has still shown to me, as well as some extreme patience. The first thing I would like to announce is that the Bagbeing in the Know is, unfortunately, retiring. The staff has had some amazing times bringing smiles and activity to the community, but the BBITK will no longer being an official newspaper and we are going

I apologize everyone for our silence. For my silence, mainly. I've been struggling with doctor's appointments, my new job and other personal problems going on. I thank everyone for their patience while I get things straightened out, and work as much as I can, when I can, on this issue that we need to publish. I'm sorry winners have not yet been announced, but rest assured that they will be.

Now for the bad news.
Unfortunately some real world things have delayed us from posting the new issue as well as raffle and contest winners.
Kayme had to go to the ER last night. As of right now she is stable and is at home resting. I will let her post any information about that if she wishes when she feels up to it later, as it's not my place to share details.
